Assemblyman Joseph Gigilio will also address the final Allegany County Legislative meeting of 2021

The last meeting of the Allegany County government will feature prominent speakers and a ceremony honoring outgoing legislators.
Congressman Tom Reed, representing the 23rd district in the House of Representatives, will have the priviledge of the floor today along with state leaders. Reed, Gigilio, and a spokeswomen for state Senator George Borrello will be addressing the board meeting beginning at 2pm.
Outgoing Chairman Curt Crandall will present all outgoing legislators with commemorative plaques thanking each for years of service in county government. Inbound Chairman Phil Stockin will then perform one of his first acts as leader of the county and present Crandall with a plaque which memorializes his career. After 16 years, Crandall steps asides the longest serving Chairman in Allegany County history.
