Police reports from Christmas weekend, Village of Wellsville

Police charged Skyanne D. Carpenter, 24 of Wellsville, with third-degree felony criminal mischief for “Making Graffiti and Possession of Graffiti Instruments” on Dec. 24. Police said there was an alleged incident on Dec. 19 on West State Street. Carpenter was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Brad Thompson and sent to the Allegany County Jail on $5,000 cash bail, $10,000 property bond or $20,000 partially secured bond. Carpenter is due back in Wellsville Village Court on Dec. 28.

On Dec. 23, Wellsville Police, acting on a bench warrant Issued by the Wellsville Village Court, arrested a 24-year-old male from Niagara Falls for failure to appear in Court on a previous misdemeanor charge of third-degree falsely reporting an Incident. He was located by the Bolivar Police Department and turned over to Wellsville Police. He was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Brad Thompson and released with a Feb. 15 court appearance.

On Christmas, Wellsville Police charged a 22-year-old Wellsville male with second-degree harassment, a misdemeanor, for an alleged incident on East Fassett Street in September. He was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Brad Thompson and released with a Jan. 18 court date.
