New York Democrats End Reporting Period With More Cash on Hand At This Point Than Ever Before in New York’s History
Raise Includes Contributions from Record 9,959 Donors, More Than Three Times the Previous Record At This Point
From Friends of Kathy Hochul,
NEW YORK — Today, Governor Kathy Hochul announced raising more than $4.2 million in the October 2026 filing period, including $1 million to her re-election campaign and more than $3 million raised into the New York State Democratic Party. Friends for Kathy Hochul ends this filing period with more than $12.3 million cash on hand, and the New York State Democratic Party ends it with $9.5 million cash on hand.
The raise leaves Governor Hochul’s campaign and the New York State Democratic Committee with a record $22 million cash on hand to invest in mobilizing voters in the final 13 days of this election.
This filing period, the campaign earned the support of a record 9,959 individual donors – tripling the previous record – with an average online donation of just $23. For the fifth filing period in a row, the governor has earned grassroots donations from all 62 counties in New York State, with a majority of her contributions coming from New Yorkers.
“After another record-breaking filing period, Governor Hochul has made sure voters in every corner of New York will hear our message in the next 13 days,” said Friends for Kathy Hochul Campaign Manager Preston Elliott. “While Bruce Blakeman is running low on cash and reasons to elect him, Governor Hochul has equipped Democrats to blanket voters’ screens, doors, and mailboxes so that we can take back the House and elect Democrats up and down the ballot on November 3.”
