Swift was honored for 12 years of “invaluable service”

On August 29, 2023, staff, families, friends and members of the Board of Directors celebrated all volunteers, present and past who have worked at Hart Comfort House with a picnic in Wellsville, at the Lutheran Church pavilion.
The families of Bob Sanders, both the Sanders and Dunne families, and L’Italia Restaurant provided a wonderful meal for all of us to enjoy.
All who were gathered, at this picnic, honored Scott Swift upon his recent retirement, thanking him with heartfelt applause, for his over 12 years of dedicated and invaluable service to Hart House. He was presented by the Board with a watch that will “watch over” him, monitoring his well-being, as he continues his life as a retiree.
All who were present also welcomed Rachael Clark, RN as our now acting Director of Hart Comfort House, and greeted her family, as well, as part of our celebration.
The Board of Directors knows how crucial it is to have volunteers at Hart House. As Dave Porter reiterated what all of us working at and on comfort care know, “Volunteers are the heart of Hart House.”
