Free programming for all ages!

From the Cuba Circulating Library,

Join us at the Cuba Library for a program with the Erie Canal Traveling Museum on Thursday, September 28 at 3:30 pm. A community favorite, the Erie Canal Traveling Museum brings the world of the Erie Canal to life with an interactive exploration into actual artifacts from the days of the early canal.

Always expanding, the traveling museum allows students to examine and interact with real artifacts as they learn stories about canal life, and learn about what the world was like in the 1820’s and 30’s and what impact the Canal had on the people who lived and worked nearby. Participants will find this a great way to appreciate, question, and wonder at the marvel of New York’s Erie Canal.

This program is free and open to all ages, but is especially geared towards children in grades K-8. Please contact Cuba Library at 595-968-1668 or email cuba@stls.org with any questions.

Programming was made possible by the generous support of Humanities New York and Arts for Learning WNY
