Theodore Louis SEELEY, III, 48, of Wellsville, NY, formerly of Belmont, peacefully ended his long battle on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 in his home, going into the arms of Jesus surrounded by his family. 

Born December 31, 1974, in Cuba, he was the son of Theodore Louis Jr. and Roberta Donovan Seeley.  On April 16, 2022, in Almond, he married the former Amber Slocum, who survives. 

A 1993 graduate of Belmont Central School, he earned an associate degree in human services from Alfred State. He was employed by The Arc of Allegany-Steuben for over 25 years.  Ted was a member of the Allegany County Historical Society and Abundant Life Ministries of Almond. 

Surviving besides his wife, Amber, are: his parents of Belmont; a son, Raider Barrett at home; his fur babies, Travis and Frieda; two sisters, Deborah (James) Marble of Wellsville and Marcia (LeRoy) Nupp of Bolivar; a nephew, Andrew Morse of CA; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  He was predeceased by a brother, Justin David Seeley; his maternal and paternal grandparents; aunts and uncles. 

Family and friends may call at Obi Community Church, 1948 NY-305, Cuba, NY on Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, with services following at 1:00 PM.  Pastor Tony Palmer will officiate. 

Memorials may be made to Friends of The Arc of Allegany-Steuben or the SPCA serving Allegany County.  Arrangements are under the direction of OLNEY-FOUST Funeral Homes & Cremation, Crowell Chapel, 296 North Main Street, Wellsville, NY.
