Laura Lee Cannioto of 10138 Dutch Hill Annex passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. She was born on June 29, 1970 in Cuba, a daughter of Lester Fuller and Mary Mann Burrows. Her domestic partner, James Nusbickel survives.

Laura was the Bear Den leader of the Centerville Scouts Troop 848 where she always gave 100 percent to anything that she did including fundraising for the scouts and had a deep appreciation for the culture and leadership of the scouting youth.

She loved spending time with her family, doing crafts, an avid gardener, lover of wildlife, bowling, traveling, fishing, camping, boating, sightseeing, hiking, watching birds at her feeders, and family game nights.

She was extremely hard working, determined to do the best she could with whatever she had. She was the kind of person who would help do anything and everything to help anyone and often put others needs ahead of her own. She was devoted to being an amazing mother, a compassionate and an understanding ear to anyone in need and always seemed to have a solution to unsolvable problems. Her smile could light up the darkest of rooms, and she always had a way of putting worries at ease. She was independent and a true warrior through and through.

At a young age, she enjoyed showing her animals at the fair and was a member of the FFA as well as 4-H. She enjoyed volleyball, soccer and basketball. She liked her evening walks, going to the beach, metal detecting, sea shell hunting and being outdoors as much as possible.

As an adult, she worked and helped run a joint garage business, after that she started working as a dental assistant at Andover Dental Center then later on Cuba Memorial Hospital as a receptionist in physical therapy.  She continued her journey and eventually adventured into assisting with photography.

She was loved by so many people and touched so many hearts, she is already so very missed by all those who knew her.

Surviving in addition to her partner and her parents are her children, Darcy Cannioto, Kimberly (Roger “RC”) Klein, Colton Cannioto, her grandchildren, Mhyla Chilson, Leirah Cannioto, her grand-dog, Biscuit, two brothers, Lester Fuller Jr, Wayne Fuller, an aunt, Sheila Cole, a “like-a-sister” best friend, Rene Smith and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may gather from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, July 28, 2023 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N Genesee Street, Fillmore where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 12:00 pm. Joel Stroud, pastor of the Hume Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Old Field Cemetery, Hornby.
