Man who staged March 28 Wellsville school protest arrested on unrelated charge

All those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court

Friday May 5, 2023

Wellsville Police arrested Robert N. Young, age 33 of Wellsville, charging him with Grand Larceny 3rd (Class D Felony) and Issuing a Bad Check. The charges stem from a complaint made by North Main Lumber. Young was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released. Young is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on May 16th at 4:30 pm.

Wellsville Police, acting on a Bench Warrant issued by the Wellsville Village Court, arrested Mikayla S. Perkins, age 22 of Bolivar, for failure to appear in Court on previous Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument, Criminal use of Drug Parahernailia 2nd and Unlicensed Operator charges. Perkins was located by the New York State Police in Bolivar and taken into custody. Perkins was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. Perkins was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $10,000.00 cash bail, or $20,000.00 property bond or $40,000.00 partially secured bond. Perkins is due back in Wellsville Village Court on 05/16/2023 at 4:30

Wellsville Police arrested Darcy L. Ennis age 61 of Wellsville, charging her with Issuing a Bad Check. The charge stems from a complaint made by the Giant Food Mart. Ennis was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released. Ennis is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on June 6th at 4:30 pm.

Tuesday May 16, 2023

Wellsville Police arrested Nathaniel A. Dejac, age 24 of Wellsville, charging him with Criminal Mischief 4th. The charge stems from an incident that took place on South Broad Street. Dejac was issued an appearance ticket and released. Dejac is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on June 6th at 4:30 pm.
