At tonight’s Emerald Hook & Ladder Co. No. 3, Inc. meeting, we were presented with a few letters of thanks for fighting the North Broad St. Fire from the ICS First Grade Class of Mrs. Carol Gardner.
This means a lot to us, thank you!

We would like to congratulate Killian McKnight and Hope Ford on completing New York State’s Basic Exterior Firefighting Operations Course. These two traveled(thanks Killian for driving)to the Almond Fire Department for classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings as well as Saturdays for multiple weeks totaling 79hrs. Thanks for putting the time in to get it done and serve your community! I would also like to add that these two are still in high school, Killian is a Senior and Hope is a Sophomore.
