Teenager and tween arrested for multiple felonies after Belfast burglaries

A pair of very young kids are in big trouble

Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty

NYS Police report that two name-protected minors were arrested for a list of crimes committed in the town of Belfast. Both youth, ages 12 and 14, are residents of Belfast and arrested for what appears to be three destructive burglaries.

The older child, just 14, was charged with and additional count of Petit Larceny but both were charged with:

Three counts of Misdemeanor Criminal Trespass,

Three counts of Felony Burglary and

One count Criminal Mischief(damages over $250,) indicate that a serious crime was committed.

Both children were released to a third party and issued an appearance ticket for Belfast town court.


State Police also made an Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated arrested in the town of Belfast. A 37 year old Belfast woman was charged with DWI, 1st offense and Aggravated DWI, both misdemeanor charges.
