The news of a Chipolte in Olean came out a year ago, and the time for talk has ended: The building is up, making the chain restaurant a reality.

The Chipolte will be on West State Street in Olean where there was once a Ponderosa. The Indus Hospitality Group is the reason there are so many national chains in the Southern Tier. They have brought Microtel, Dunkin Donuts, Taco Bell and more to so many communities. Others have not made that investment.

Gleason Construction of Derrick City, Pa., posted this photo of the work being done on the building.

Wellsville had the new Walgreen’s go up, very fast (noticeable), and that store is mainly for drive-thru prescriptions with the larger retail store on North Main Street.

However, there has been no demolition or work done on Bolivar road for the Quicklee’s which will house a Tim Horton’s, like the Dunkin inside the Quicklee’s in Belmont at the I-86 truck stop.

Town of Wellsville officials indicated that project has been approved and they are waiting for the real estate transaction to be completed. After that deal is signed, the project will move into the construction phase.
