From the Wellsville Area Chamber of Commerce, pictured is the 2021 Community Guide
Attention photographers and artists, as the Wellsville Area Chamber of Commerce begins work on our 2023-2024 edition of the Wellsville Community & Visitor’s Guide, we are excited to announce a competition to find the next cover – a photo or artistic representation of Wellsville at its finest!
The cover of the 2021-2022 edition was an eye-catching photograph capturing the excitement of the Balloon Rally, which is an annual event that draws many visitors and has become one of our main identifiers. Wellsville has many amazing natural wonders, events, attributes, and landmarks…we cannot wait to see what depictions come our way!
The Chamber Board and Wellsville Development Corp will act as the judges for this fun competition. No artist identifiers will appear in any of the voting, the vote will be based solely on the submission’s quality and representation of Wellsville. In addition to the prestige of appearing on the cover, the winner will be directly credited on the cover, and will receive a $100 Chamber gift certificate…shop local!
The submittal period opens on March 1, 2023, and closes on March 15 at 5pm. The competition is open to amateurs and professionals; no more than three (3) submittals per contestant please. Additionally, we request that all submittals be in a print-ready format.
