The Bicentennial Birthday Party was a great success
We wish to thank everybody who participated in the fund raiser with congratulations to the winners. We would also like to extend special thanks to Lee James from Congressman Nick Langworthy’s office, Scio Central School students for their service in songs (They did a GREAT JOB!), Historian, Craig Braack for sharing the history of our region and town, Scio Memorial Library for hosting, all who were involved in getting the word out about the celebration, everybody who provided snacks and cocoa, and everyone who helped set up and tear down.
We meet again next Monday (February 6) to begin the next phase toward “the BIG celebration” scheduled for August 10-13.
