Fire was only accessible with 4×4 vehicles

Alma, Allentown, and Wellsville ambulance were dispatched to a reported structure fire on Alma Hill rd. Around 22:00. Allentown 1,4,7,50,501,503 hit the road within minutes of dispatch.
Alma 50 arrived on scene reporting it was a chimney fire and was only accessible by 4×4 vehicles, Allentown 4 followed by Alma 4 accessed the scene and located a newly constructed cabin with confirmed fire in the wall around the chimney area.
Interior crews stretched a hand line from Allentown 4 in thru the front door while Alma crews worked on the outside wall.
Thanks to the quick actions of the home owner utilizing a garden hose to control the fire before crews could arrive damage was kept minimal
All units returned to service shortly before 1am
