You can’t miss it. A massive mansion with the trademark cupola, recently refurbished into its current glorious state as pictured above. The David A. Howe is the library that every librarian dreams of: Huge archives of literature, dedicated children’s “wing,” and programming, galleries, meeting rooms, modern technology, community WIFI, the Nancy Howe Auditorium, two grand terrances, and all operated by an amazing staff and dedicated volunteer board.

The library hosts important community events like the legendary “Music on the Lawn” series and the current Festival of Lights holiday tree display. In modern times, the library provides a internet access for many, whether the users are utlizing the many desktop computers or just the free WIFI. Local governments use the library for public meetings when necessary, artists use the David A. Howe constantly, and the children’s section is the stuff of local legend.

How often do you or your family visit the Wellsville, or really any public library ?
