SPCA Serving Allegany County announces a “miracle rescue” of day old kitten

Newborn “Frankie” was found looking like a “wet mouse”

Sometimes people don’t believe in miracles, but they do happen… I arrived at the shelter within 24 hours of being born and was found laying in the grass out in the rain, cold and just so fragile…I looked like a tiny wet mouse! Luckily, a cat loving good Samaritan brought me to the shelter, so I would have chance…and against all odds I am alive and kickin!

We have been bottle feeding this little guy for the past 2 1/2 weeks…and he is now flourishing! A very special thanks and paws up to our employee Alex for taking such good care of Frankie. He still needs to be bottle fed and soon he will be ready to go to a foster home.

If you are interested in fostering or donating to help this kitten, contact us at SPCAallegany@gmail.com or call 585-593-2200 ext 2
