Big rig was hauling heavy equipment
At 00:05 this morning we were dispatched along with Almond Fire and MTS Ambulance to I-86 east bound at the West Almond off ramp for a tractor trailer on fire. Angelica 50, 2, and 7 as well as Almond 50 and 1 responded.
Firefighters were able to quickly bring the fire under control and saved the truck cab and 2 of the 3 skid steers being hauled from burning. Approximately 1200 gallons of water with foam was used to extinguish the fire. Also assisting on scene was MTS Ambulance, AL-51, and the NYS Police.
