Emergency meeting next week in Alma to discuss highway superintendent vacancy

After longtime highway chief Daniel Ford resigned this week the town of Alma has yet another challenge for the newly installed board. In response this most recent resignation in the sleepy border town, the town has announced a special emergency meeting this Tuesday March 15th at 6pm. Town Clerk Heather Trask issued this public notice:

” An emergency meeting has been called by the Alma town board for Tuesday March 15, 2022 at 6pm. The purpose of said meeting is to discuss and appoint a qualified individual to fill the highway superintendent vacancy for the remainder of 2022. If interested in this position please send a letter of interest and resume to TownClerk@TownofAlma.org or fax it to 585-593-4027 by no later then 3pm Monday March 14, 2022. You must reside in the town of Alma! “
