V-Ry the Sports Guy: The Beasts Of The East

By V-Ry the Sports Guy

It was a season of highs and lows for the Buffalo Bills, but they stayed the course and are the AFC East champions once again. The Bills locked up the division for the second consecutive year by defeating the New York Jets on Sunday. It’s the first time since the early 90’s that the team clinched the division at home and for consecutive seasons. The win moves the Bills to the third seed and guarantees them two home playoff games.

As the number three seed the Bills play host to the number six seed and division rival New England Patriots. The Patriots stumble into the Wild Card matchup having lost to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. The Bills and Patriots split the regular season series with one win each. The game is the nightcap on Saturday with kickoff scheduled for 8:15 PM from Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park.

I expect a lathered up and rowdy crowd to grace 1 Bills Drive on Saturday night. I predict that the game will be close throughout with the Bills ultimately prevailing in a thriller. Bills playoff football from the house that Ralph built begs the question.. Where else would you rather be? “Trust the process” and Go Bills!
