Scio’s Fairlawn Cemetery, final resting place of Corporal Jason Dunham, looks for support

Dear Friends of Fairlawn:

For many years, the Fairlawn Cemetery Association has been expected, and privileged, to maintain the beauty, peace, and tranquility of the Cemetery. We have been entrusted to care for this Cemetery, and our mission is to continue to do just that.

Dunham

The past few years have been difficult with rising maintenance costs, including mowing and weed eating. In addition to equipment replacement and repairs, along with higher insurance rates, we find it more and more difficult to keep our wonderful Cemetery as beautiful as it is.

Fairlawn Cemetery receives no funding through the Town of Scio, nor any other agency.

This is where you come in. The Fairlawn Cemetery Association needs your assistance so that we can continue to preserve this property.

We all have family and friends in this Cemetery, and we like you, want to be sure it is as pristine as it can be. We are counting on your support to enable us to continue this mission. If you feel you can help, please send your donation to: Fairlawn Cemetery, PO Box 115, Scio, NY 14880

Sincerely,

The Board of Trustees: Bud Baker, Angela Black, Donna Dean, Dan Lounsberry, Sue Moyer, LouAnn Slocum, Sharon Washer, JoAnne White
