Out going Director, Bill Whitfield, will be retiring at the end of this year after decades of service to the village.

The Wellsville Sun as obtained a copy of Arnold’s resignation letter and provided some comments from members of the community about Dean’s move, “from the town, to the village.”

Cyndi Stanton: Dean has done an excellent job as highway superintendent such a shame he felt resigning was his only option. Wishing him the best of luck with his future plans.

Chris Lounsberry: Dean is great, always helped the village guys when we needed it and was very thankful when we could help out the town. What a loss for the town, but hope all turns out well for him in his future endeavours.
