The Wellsville Lady Lions (14-0) host No. 8 Midlakes (14-6) Friday, Oct, 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the elementary school in the volleyball gym.
The winner will face either No. 4 Attica (16-2) or No. 5 Livonia (11-10) in the semifinals on Nov. 2.
On the other side of the bracket, No. 2 LeRoy (18-1) hosts No. 7 Mynderse (14-5) while No. 3 WOIS (14-4) hosts No. 6 Penn Yan (10-11).
The finals are on Nov. 5.
The volleyball team has won sectional games the past four seasons and last year under first-year coach Shannon Steiner, the team advanced to the semi-finals before falling at No. 1 LeRoy.
Wellsville was 12-1 last season and again had a perfect regular season with the 14-0 record. This season, Wellsville also swept the Genesee Valley and Campbell-Savona tournaments.
