Tina A. Shafer 62 of 2292 Rt 275 passed away on Monday February 7, 2022 at the Erie Co. Medical Center Buffalo.

Born on October 11, 1959 in Buffalo she was the daughter of John Kozlowski and Irene Betyn Kozlowski.

Tina was a graduate of the Friendship Central School class of 1978.

Tina was a kind, caring, compassionate lady with a heart of gold, always putting others first and touching the lives of all who knew her. Her joyful personality and spunk brought laughter to every room.

Tina was employed by the Friendship Dairy’s from 1979-1995. In 2001 Tina started TLC Home Health Care Services. For 20 years she delivered kind, caring and compassionate services to many families in the area. Her reputation of excellence and compassion was noticed by the Jones Memorial Hospital and The Allegany County Office of The Aging, who also referred many clients and families to her care. She was well respected by many for the care she gave to others loved ones.

Tina was a member and Treasurer of the Kenyon Andrus Post 772 American Legion Aux. Bolivar. She was very involved with the Cancer Services Golf Tournament held annually at the Bolivar Golf Course. Tina gave her time and talents to many area organizations.

She was an avid reader and big Denver Broncos fan. She enjoyed her time with family and friends at Sunny Hill Camp Ground, but there was nothing she loved more than her grand babies, she was the best nana and found great joy in that role. Tina will be remembered for her kind, caring heart and immense love for her family.

Surviving are her Loving Companion of Thirty-Five years Gary Faulkner Bolivar, NY, One Daughter, Lindsey (Jessie) Vogel, Hornell, NY, One son David (Katie) Faulkner, Wellsville, NY. Known as Nana to her 5 grandchildren: Colton, Trenton, Sadie, Ayla, Easton. 3 brothers: John (Rhonda) Kozlowski, Belfast, NY, Tony (Patricia) Kozlowski, Wellsville, NY, Jerry (Linda) Bucheister, Cuba, NY. Several Brother in laws, sister in laws, cousins, Nieces and Nephews. Fur baby dogs Scooter, Charlie and Gizmo. Special friends: Jerry & Sheila Cole, Toni Marie Sprague, Nancy Childs, Kathy Smith, Linda Palmer, Kay Farrington.

Friends may call at the Schaffner Funeral Home, Inc. Bolivar, NY. Friday February 11, 2022 4-7 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday February 12, 2022 at 11 AM in the Richburg First Day Baptist Church. Pastor Larry Allen officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery Friendship, NY.
