Friday October 1, 2021

Wellsville Police arrested a male, age 36 of Wellsville, charging him with Criminal Contempt 2nd. The charge stems from an incident that took place on Madison Street in the Village. He was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. The accused was released and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on October 19th at 4:30 pm.

Wellsville Police arrested male, age 20 of Wellsville, charging him with Criminal Impersonation 2nd, Resisting Arrest. The charges stem from an incident that took place on School Street when Police attempted to execute a Bench Warrant for him that was issued by the Village of Wellsville Court for failure to appear in Court. He was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. The accused was released and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on October 19th at 4:30 pm.

Sunday October 3, 2021

Wellsville Police arrested a male, age 49 of Wellsville, charging him with DWI, AUO 3rd, Unlicensed Operator and Failure to keep right. The charges stem from a traffic stop on East Pearl Street in the Village. He was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released. The accused is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on November 16th at 4:30 pm. Additional charges are pending blood test results.

Monday October 4, 2021

Wellsville Police arrested Cody R. Thurston, age 26 of Angelica, charging him with Criminal Mischief 4th. The charge stems from an incident that took place at Auto Zone. Thurston was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released. Thurston is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on October 19th at 4:30 pm.

Thurston, who acknowledged the charges on Facebook had this to say:

“I broke the front window in the door by accident if anyone’s wondering happened.🤦‍♂️ was an ACCIDENT. Held accountable and turned myself over immediately.”

Wellsville Police arrested a female, age 36 of Wellsville, charging her with Making a Punishable False Written Statement. The charge stems from an incident that took place on Madison Street in August of 2021. She was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released. The accused is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on October 19th at 4:30 pm.

Wellsville Police arrested a male, age 43 of Wellsville, charging him with Criminal Impersonation 2nd. The charge stems from an incident that took place on Madison Street on October 1st. He was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released. The accused is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on November 16th at 4:30 pm.
