I’m Allie, and I feel so achingly sad not having a loving home. I’ve resided at the shelter since last September after my beloved owner passed away and I am now the longest resident. When I first arrived, I truly believed that someone new would fall in love with me, but I’m beginning to feel that maybe no one ever will. Please help me see that that’s not true, that I am lovable and worthy of a new beginning. Until that special day comes, I will be waiting here with only my hopes and dreams of meeting you.
This picture was taken across the room after a caretaker noticed how sad Allie was from seeing someone else get adopted. Allie is 7 years old, an absolute sweetheart, and can live with friendly animals or as an only pet. What she wants most of all is to be happy and loved.
