The Village of Wellsville is presently working on upgrades to our main electric transmission substation to improve our future reliability for our customer base. As part of that project, it will be necessary to terminate power to the entire Village for short durations of time so that new equipment can be installed. DUE TO AN UNFORTUNATE VEHICLE ACCIDENT AND POWER OUTAGE ON SATURDAY, 5/15, THE ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED OUTAGE FOR MAY 16TH WILL NOW BE AS FOLLOWS:
POWER WILL BE OFF from 2:00 AM UNTIL 6:00 AM ON SUNDAY MAY 23, 2021. PLEASE TAKE PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT ANY ELECTRONIC DEVICES AND EQUIPMENT IN YOUR HOMES PRIOR TO AND DURING THIS EVENT.
If weather creates unsafe conditions to perform work on the scheduled date, a rain date has been set for SUNDAY, JUNE 6, 2021 at the same scheduled times. We will give the public as much notice as possible with any changes to the schedule listed above.
