52 North Main Street, Apartment Building in Wellsville Deemed Unsafe, All Residents Must Vacate

One of the largest residential buildings in the village of Wellsville has been declared unsafe due to a insect(bedbug) infestation by Village Building and Code Inspector Rich Wenslow. The building is on the corner of Fassett and Main Streets, All the current residents must relocate and are being assisted by Accord Corporation. It is unclear if, or when the building could be re-inhabited.

The building has undergone ownership and management changes recently. New management has offered each displaced tenant $500 per apartment for new furnishings.
