Wellsville man involved in tragic July sustained severe injuries

A terrible head on collision in the town of Alfred took the life of Mary N. Dagostino, 62 of Caledonia, NY and nearly killed Adam VanSkiver.

Adam’s injuries were severe and as typical, insurance coverage often lacks and co-payments add up. His family and friends are following his example of a, “humble man never fails to help his family and friends anytime and anywhere he is needed.”

On the evening of July 18th, 2023 a hardworking, dedicated, supportive and honest man, found himself trapped inside his car after a horrible accident. Adam VanSkiver, 29, is a friend, son, brother, uncle and teammate, and finds himself with the mounting expenses of being a survivor, he sustained several broken bones, including both femurs, several ribs, head trauma and more.

As the breadmaker for his family, as a roofer, and as an avid volleyball teammate, Adam has relied on his physical abilities to support his family and be athletic with his friends. This humble man never fails to help his family and friends anytime and anywhere he is needed. Adam takes a very active role in raising his nieces with his sister, helping with the needs of his parents, along with loving and caring for his beloved husky. Adam is fun, loving, goofy, genuine and dedicated to supporting his friend as a teammate.

Having a job that requires physical labor, Adam needs help with the substantial cost associated with medical treatments and specialized care. With your generous contributions, we aim to ease the financial burden that comes with battling the physical ailments that Adam now has. This also includes the cost of medical transportation for his ongoing doctor appointments, physical therapy, probable mental health counseling, and everyday expenses, including food, clothing, shelter and utilities are also in jeopardy.

Let’s show Adam that we believe that he is not in this situation alone. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make an incredible difference in Adam’s life, providing him with the much-needed support and resources to tackle his fight with courage and strength.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering our cause and being a beacon of hope during this challenging time.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Friends and Family of Adam VanSkiver.
