Texas Hot opened our doors in 1921 and we’re proud to be celebrating our 100th Anniversary this year! While our actual anniversary date is November 21st 2021, we’re going to celebrate this summer!
We realize that it is because of our customers and wonderful small town support, that we have been able to continue to serve our delicious hots for 100 years. We would like to acknowledge and thank you by inviting Allegany county New York residents (current or prior), young or old, to participate in a contest in which the winning design will be recognized on merchandise during our summer celebration!
The opportunity exists for multiple winners to be chosen! Don’t let your hesitation hold you back! Young or old, show us what you’ve got! We would love to see what you can create, and want you to have fun doing so!
We are asking participants to design a piece of artwork to be used on merchandise (of our choosing that best suits your design). The sky is the limit!! Create a design that can be used on a T-shirt, hoody, mug, post card, key chain, etc. There are no limits or requirements with the exception of asking you to sign your work!
Use your imagination to come up with a fun and artsy, or simple and clean design, keeping in mind it will be used for our 100th Anniversary celebration! The design can be any medium you are comfortable with.
The deadline for submission is May 1st 2021.We ask that you submit your design in JPEG form by emailing it to texashot100@gmail.com. If your design is not digital (ie: drawing or painting) please email a photo of it. When sending in your design, please include in the email your name, address (current and previous Allegany county address if you no longer live here), a small tid bit about yourself, why you created this design, or anything you’d like to share with us!
The winner will be asked to send the RAW digital files, or the original artwork to the Texas Hot. The Texas Hot will reserve the right to own the RAW digital files or original artwork to be used in any way we see fit. The winner will be given credit for their design on our social media platforms, and using your design on our merchandise isn’t the only prize! We will also send you a personalized Texas Hot goodie bag containing a gift certificate, and new products that will be available this summer!
