Corey G. IVES, 54, of Wellsville, NY, died Wednesday, September 2, 2026, in his home. Born July 20, 1972, in Wellsville, he was the son of Leroy A. and Gloria J. Cramer Ives.
A 1992 graduate of Wellsville High School, he was employed as a trim saw operator by Baldwin’s Forest Products for many years. He was a past member of the Willing Volunteer Fire Department.
Surviving are: his parents, Leroy and Gloria Ives of Wellsville; five siblings, Alvin Ives of Wellsville, Shelley (Joe) Knox of Wellsville, Timmy Ives of Utica, Shawn (Tammy) Ives of Wellsville, and Jolene (Randy) Ives of Wellsville; aunts, including a special aunt, Jackie (Gary) Roesser; uncles, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews; lifelong friends, Kerri Arnold, Don Cornelius, and his “uncle” Chuck Davis. Corey always appreciated Angie, Sarah, Charlie, and the Baldwin’s crew.
He was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Alvin and Shirley Ives; maternal grandparents, David and Beatrice Cramer; and cousins, Ricky Ives and Ryan Ives.
Friends may call Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Olney-Foust & Embser Funeral Homes & Cremation, 34 West State Street, Wellsville, where Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 11:00 AM.
Burial will be in Yorks Corners Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Willing Volunteer Fire Department.
