Erev Rosh Hashanah dinner and Kiddush set for September 11

Hillel at Alfred is pleased to present the 2026 schedule for High Holy Day events, held at the Knight Club on the Alfred University campus and at the Hillel House at 18 South Main Street in the village of Alfred.
Hillel at Alfred sponsors an Erev Rosh Hashanah dinner at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, in the Knight Club; an Erev Yom Kippur dinner at 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, in the Kenyon Allen Room, Powell Campus Center; and a Break Fast meal at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, at the Hillel House.
Services from the Central Synagogue in New York City will be streamed: at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, for evening services for Erev Rosh Hashanah; and at 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, for Kol Nidre services for Erev Yom Kippur.
All meals are kosher. Please go to AU Connect to reserve a space at the dinners. Please let organizers know if you are a vegetarian or have special dietary needs and please remember: if you make a reservation and do not come, Hillel still has to pay for your dinner.
