Applications Due October 15; Local Businesses Encouraged to Apply

WELLSVILLE, NY – The Wellsville Development Corporation (WDC) has announced the launch of its 2026 Business Improvement Mini-Grant Program and is now accepting applications from businesses within the community. Applications for the fall funding round will be accepted through October 15, 2026.
The Business Improvement Mini-Grant Program is designed to support local businesses by helping offset costs associated with projects and investments that strengthen business operations and contribute to economic vitality in the Village of Wellsville. The program operates as a reimbursement grant, meaning eligible businesses must complete approved projects and submit receipts documenting project expenses before reimbursement funds can be issued.
To be eligible, applicants must operate a business that is a permanent fixture within the community and provide receipts and supporting documentation for completed project improvements. Business owners are encouraged to carefully review all program requirements before applying.
According to WDC representatives, the online application has been launched and is available through the organization’s LinkTree and social media channels. The program will also be promoted through local business networks and community partners to ensure business owners across the area are aware of the funding opportunity.
