River advocates Genesee River Wilds host popular boat float

By Andrew Harris

One of my favorite things to do on the Genesee River is spend the day traveling by kayak. The pastime has become ever popular and Genesee River Wilds has been a big part of making that happen by installing multiple river access points in Allegany County.

This event is a float from Wellsville to Amity, about a four hour trip on the Genny. Event organizers will provide a shuttle service to make transportation before and after the float easy. At the end of the trip, river rafters will enjoy live music on the riverbank and food provided by Genesee Valley Street Food.

Register online for a great day on the river supporting Genesee River Wilds.
