First food distribution set for September 2nd

Shongo Country Chapel has announced the establishment of a new community food pantry in the village of Shongo here in Allegany County.
The church is planning food distributions on the first Wednesday of each month between the hours of 1 PM and 3 PM with the first distribution scheduled for Wednesday September 2nd.
There are no income restrictions or requirements. If you, like many in our county, are struggling to make ends meet, and need food, you are welcome.
The church is located at 440 Route 19 south of Wellsville in the Village of Shongo.
If you live in the Shongo area and you cannot come during distribution hours, but need food, you can contact Pastor Helms (text or phone) at 585-296-9491. Please identify that you are calling regarding the food distribution and leave your name and address on the Voicemail. You can also message the church from our FaceBook page at www.shongochapel.org. We deliver.
The Shongo Country Chapel is a small Christ centered, community focused, congregation rebuilding after the loss of two long-term pastors.
If you’re currently without a Church family, consider visiting. Worship service is each Sunday at 11:00 AM. All are welcome!
