Annual Soil pH Clinic 2025
Knowing your soil’s pH is an important first step in creating healthy gardens, lawns, and landscapes. Bring your soil samples and learn more about your garden or lawn!

The group of Master Gardener Volunteers of Cornell Cooperative Extension will be offering free soil pH testing at two convenient locations this September:

  1. Sunday, September 7, 2025, at the Alfred Farmers Market (3 S Main, Alfred, NY 14802), from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
  2. Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the TinkerTown Hardware Store (833 State Rte 244, Alfred Station, NY 14803), from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.

Bring up to two soil samples for free testing. Additional samples will be tested for just $3 each.
