*From the editor: This morning the Wellsville Sun learned that this letter, submitted to this site by Bill Dibble as a ‘Letter to the Editor’ from Mike Edwards was NOT written by Edwards and no such endorsement was provided.

I am writing to say a few words about Legislator Bill Dibble. I have known him for over fifteen years. Bill has been a big advocate for small businesses all that time. I own two businesses: Hot Diggity Dog and Mama’s Smokin BBQ. During his time as a legislator, he has helped numerous business owners obtain funding, permits, guidance, and provided his personal support.

Bill Dibble held Hoodie Hoo Day on Main Street in the Village of Wellsville for a couple years. In visiting him at my Hot Diggity Dog stand a few years ago, I told Bill that I had just purchased a restaurant down in Shongo. Bill immediately wanted to know if I would like Hoodie Hoo Day in my new restaurant. Bill and Allegany Trails, Inc. held Hoodie Hoo Day there in 2015. This event has been held there every year since except when my restaurant was burnt down. Bill moved Hoodie Hoo Day over to Whitesville at the newly opened Whitesville Corner Market, and then he moved it back after my restaurant, Mama’s, was rebuilt and open. This event is planned for next year on February 12, 2022.

Thank you and VOTE for Dibble on November 2, 2021.

Kind regards,

Mike Edwards, Owner
