Saturday October 16, 2021

Wellsville Police arrested Steven M. Cushman, age 36 of Wellsville, charging him with DWI, DWI w/BAC of .08% or more, Aggravated DWI w/BAC of .18% or more, AUO 1st (Class E Felony) and Moved from lane unsafely. The charges stem from a traffic stop on Trapping Brook Road in the Village. Cushman was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released to a third party. Cushman is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on November 16th at 4:30 pm.

Monday October 18, 2021

Wellsville Police arrested a male, age 20 of Wellsville, charging him with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th. The charge stems from an incident that took place on Madison Street in the Village. He was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released. The accused is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on November 16th at 4:30 pm.

Tuesday October 19, 2021

Wellsville Police arrested Kevin J. Tyler, age 50 of Olean, charging him with Harassment 2nd. The charge stems from an incident that took place on North Broad Street in July. Tyler was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. Tyler was returned to the Allegany County Jail where he is being held on other unrelated charges. Tyler is due back in Wellsville Village Court at a later date.

Wellsville Police, acting on a Bench Warrant issued by the Wellsville Village Court, arrested a female, age 38 of Bolivar for failure to appear in Court on a previous AUO 2nd charge. She was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. The accused was released and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on November 16th at 4:30 pm.

Wednesday October 20, 2021

Wellsville Police arrested Austin J. Hunt, age 42 of Wellsville, charging him with Criminal Contempt 2nd. The charge stems from an incident that took place on Howard Street in the Village. Hunt was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. Hunt was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $500.00 cash bail or $1,000.00 property bond. Hunt is due back in Wellsville Village Court on November 16th at 4:30 pm
