Holiday lights and community spirit starts November 28th

The Thelma Rogers Genealogical & Historical Society (TRGHS) is pleased to announce Baker-Swan Funeral Home as the Illumination Presenting Sponsor for the second annual Jingle & Glow holiday light exhibit in Wellsville.
As one of Allegany County’s longstanding family-owned businesses, Baker-Swan has been part of the community since 2003, picking up the baton from its predecessors dating back to 1946. For nearly 25 years, the Baker family has served local families with compassion and care, building a reputation for community involvement and public service.
“We are extremely grateful to Baker-Swan Funeral Home for stepping forward as our Illumination Presenting Sponsor,” said Jackie Comstock, chair of Jingle & Glow. “Their support is a wonderful example of a local family business investing in the community and helping us create something that families of all ages can enjoy together. Jingle & Glow is about bringing light and joy to Wellsville during the holiday season, and Baker-Swan is helping us make that possible.”
The sponsorship and that of so many others will help TRGHS expand and enhance this year’s illuminated holiday experience at Fassett Greenspace and throughout the Jingle & Glow event.

The second annual Jingle & Glow is more than a holiday light display. Organized by the TRGHS, the event supports the Society’s mission of preserving and celebrating local history, including the Nathaniel Dike Museum. It will also continue its unique mission of supporting local organizations dedicated to preserving Wellsville’s heritage and strengthening its future.
“We want Jingle & Glow to become a tradition that belongs to the entire community,” Comstock said. “It is a place where families can make memories together and our community can come together during one of the most special times of the year. Having Baker-Swan as our Presenting Illumination Sponsor is a tremendous boost as we work to make this year’s event even brighter.”
