Walk the Plank!! Sword-fighting lessons! Treasure dig!

A free event geared toward Elementary School kids from the David A. Howe,

The David A. Howe Public Library invites all elementary school age lads and lassies to embark on a swashbuckling Pirate Party on Saturday, April 18, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Young buccaneers will “walk the plank” into an evening of adventure. Our library crew will give out mustaches, tattoos, hats, and eye patches and have a pirate photo booth ready.

The highlight will be a special sword fighting lesson led by Princess Peigh from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Following the lesson, buccaneers can enjoy refreshments and dive into pirate-themed activities, including a craft and an exciting treasure dig.

Families are encouraged to pre-register their young sea sailors by calling the library at 585-593-3410 or by visiting the children’s desk in person.
