Despite previous estimates from road crews, Friendship Hill is NOW OPEN

Good News! I have recently been notified by a Friendship resident living close to the bridge, that the County Route 31 Bridge over Van Campen Creek that had been closed, then re-opened and then closed again, Is now open.
I can verify that report having driven over the hill from Scio, crossed the bridge and returned home to announce this.
East to West travel via that route can now be resumed.
But…Be careful as the road to and from is starting to get snow covered and you should drive with caution.
