Tippy Top official! Wellsville’s new liquor and wine outlet celebrates grand opening

Local business leaders gather to cut the ribbon with new owners

Just in time for Christmas and what could be a long, cold winter – the Wellsville area now has a brand new choice for shopping liquor and wine.

Robin and “Junior” Green decided that the time was right to offer local partakers another option for spirits and wines. They built a brand new retail space on Route 19, aka “Ackerman Hill,” on the south edge of the town of Wellsville. The location is perfect for serving the northern Potter County, Whitesville, Alma, Stannards, and of course Wellsville.

“It’s only a five minute drive from the village and we promise our prices make the trip well worthwhile! In the future we are looking at delivery options to bring product directly to your door,” explained Robin.

Last Friday, the Green’s hosted friends and the local business community for a tour of the new store topped off with an official ribbon cutting.

Tippy Top is open seven days a week and have lots of tasting events coming up in December. Each event offers customers a chance to sample and learn more about some of the most popular products on the shelves.
