Hydrant Flushing Village of Wellsville

Mark your calendar now with the date hydrant flushing will begin.

This is our 2022 flushing schedule. Slight water pressure variations or discolored water conditions may occur during this period.

REMEMBER THE WATER IS ABSOLUTELY SAFE TO DRINK.

We are merely cleaning out an accumulation of dissolved materials that have settled in the mains.

2022 FLUSHING SCHEDULE

7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday, October 24, 2022- East side of Genesee River starting at East State Street, working South to Village Line.

7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2022 – East side of Genesee River starting at East State Street working North to Pearl Street.

7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2022-East side of Genesee River starting at Pearl Street working North to Village Line.

7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. -Thursday, October 27, 2022- West side of Genesee River starting at West State Street working North to Village Line.

7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2022 -West side of Genesee River starting at West State Street working South to Village Line.

To avoid any inconvenience, please be sure to check the water before doing laundry, and keep water in the refrigerator for drinking and cooking.

Residents of Williams Avenue

Re: Williams Avenue Culvert Replacement To whom it may concern,

The Village of Wellsville will be starting a culvert replacement between 127 Williams Avenue and 135 Williams Avenue starting October 17th 2022 at 7am. During this process the road will be closed at this location. People living below the culvert will have to use 417 as alternative route and people living above the culvert will have to use Rauber Street for access. This project is scheduled to last approximately one week.
