MAHA in Western New York, coming soon

From the Office of Congressman Nick Langworthy,

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Nick Langworthy announced that he is a founding member of the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Caucus, a new initiative focused on improving access to affordable, high-quality foods and primary care to help Americans lead healthier, longer lives.

“Healthy food and access to quality medical care are essential for the long-term health of our communities,” said Congressman Langworthy. “In Western New York and the Southern Tier, we take pride in the hard work of our farmers and food producers who help put healthy, nutritious food on dinner tables across America. This Caucus will not only help ensure every community has better access to healthy food options but also affordable, quality healthcare so families can focus on living well and building strong futures. I’m proud to join this effort to work with the Trump Administration to make health a priority for all Americans.”

The MAHA Caucus will address rising rates of chronic diseases and obesity by promoting access to preventive care and affordable, high-quality food. It will also work to support underserved and rural communities, ensuring that no family is left behind when it comes to achieving better health outcomes.

The caucus is led by Congressman John Joyce, M.D. (PA-13), and Congressman Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) in the House, as well as Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. (R-KS) in the Senate.

Congressman Nick Langworthy represents the 23rd Congressional District of New York, including Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Chemung, Schuyler, and Steuben County, as well as parts of Erie County. Visit langworthy.house.gov.
