WELLSVILLE, NY: Fairy tale characters collide this weekend when Wellsville’s community theatre group ventures “Into the Woods.” This beloved Broadway musical will enchant audiences of all ages!
Performances will be held at the Grace United Mission Center (former Christian Temple) on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 7:00 PM, Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 7:00 PM, and Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 2:00 PM. The address is 99 Maple Avenue, Wellsville, NY 14895. General admission is $12 or $10 for seniors and students.

“Into the Woods” is a fairytale about wishes, family, and the choices we make. The story follows a Baker and his wife, who learn they cannot have a child because of a Witch’s curse; so, they set off on a journey to undo the spell. Along the way, their path intertwines with other fairy tale characters pursuing their own wishes in the woods, including Cinderella, Little Red Ridinghood, Jack (from Jack & the Beanstalk), Prince Charming, the Big Bad Wolf, and more!
This musical, written by James Lapine, features cherished music by Stephen Sondheim and is sure to be a crowd-pleaser suitable for all! Doors will open at 6:30 PM Friday/Saturday and at 1:30 PM Sunday.
