A large group of witches cast spells, raise $3000 for key mission of mercy

The Brew Witches of Allegany County (BWAC), met recently to wrap up another successful season of witchy fun, dancing and entertaining our community. We would like to thank everyone who came out to watch us, and especially to those who donated to our cause. The BWAC is very happy to announce that we raised $3,000 for the Hart Comfort House of Allegany County this season, and we are very thankful for all your support.
For those of you who did not get the chance to donate already, or would like to donate again, there is always time. The BWAC has a venmo account that can be found by looking us up by our name, Brew Witches of AC, or by using our QR code, which is attached below.
BWAC would also like to thank the members of the community that voted for our scarecrow witch at the library. Even though some gremlins and goblins stole our beautiful entry in the scarecrow contest, she still won a prize! The witches donated our prize back to the library to use as they see fit, and to thank them for their support as well. To those of you gremlins and goblins who stole our witch sister, don’t think you got away with it, we will get you my pretties! Our spells are long lasting and far reaching. You may have stolen our witch, but you didn’t steal our spirit!
We would also like to thank the good sports who played along when we kidnapped them for ransom. We had a lot of fun and hope you did too! We will continue that new tradition in years to come. So watch the skies next Halloween season, we will be flying around looking for some new candidates for ransom.
