Allegany County 2021 Republican Primary Election Results(Unofficial)

Share:

The county registered Republicans have had a vote on various town and county positions. The turnout was less than desirable considering the importance of this election. Every excuse in the book for the low turnout was given but the consensus was that voters have some exhaustion from the recent Presidential cycle of politics. No matter what side you ride on, it has been and exhausting few years which I think explains the low turnout.

Nonetheless, county election officials have been working hard all day and if your voting experience was anything like mine, the poll workers are amazing and ready to deal with boredom, electioneering, or a mad rush of voters!!! We should all consider working the polls and doing our part to maintain our free and fair elections.

Below is a copy of the official results, we’ve boldened the winners in each election!! Congrats to all, winners and losers! The Wellsville Sun will have more reporting on the results, tomorrow. A shout out to Barb Broughton from the Allegany County Board of Elections!! Great work keeping everyone informed and with a great attitude!!! It’s a 15 hour day for election workers!
