Help Wanted: Alfred Farmers Market Manager for 2025
By, Mary Gardner-Ruch
Customers wanted to avoid seeing the Alfred Farmers Market come to a close. They were asking for more and their wishes are being answered. On November 17th, fifteen farmer and artisan vendors will be set up at the UCC Center at 29 N. Main Street in Alfred to offer local goods for the upcoming holidays. The event takes place from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Participating in the November Holiday Market are the following vendors: Living Cultures with some Living Acres products, Mascho Homestead Farms, Whisper Hill Farms, Ramsey Fresh Foods, Simply Syrup Products, Winey Shepherds, West Hollow Homestead & Bakery, Homestead on the HIll, Scandinavirens, Creative Octagon, Designs by ScaryAnn, Light Fusion, Katelynn & SaJean, Mischief & Magic, and Noble Library.
This is an opportunity to stock up on your Thanksgiving needs, start your Christmas shopping, and stock up for winter. A winter market will be held at the same location on December 15th. Mark your calendars for these events. For more information, you can follow the Alfred Farmers Market on Facebook. Check out their website if you are interested in becoming a vendor or a volunteer. The market is also searching for a new manager for the 2025 season.
