The owners of Fassett Lane Lumber in Wellsville are committed to two key principles: Customer appreciation and supporting other local small businesses.
Dan and Butch don’t just believe in these things, they invest every month in both loyal customers and the local economy. At the Fassett Lane service desk anyone can enter two monthly drawings with no purchase necessary.
Last month Patricia Cook tossed her name into the drawing while she was grabbing some supplies. That turned into a $100 in-store credit has already come in handy for Cook as she explains:
“I’ve already been back to pick up a few things that I needed to get my chicken coop ready for winter!! I’m one to spend wisely so this has really helped out!!”
The other monthly prize Fassett Lane is giving away each month is a $50 gift card to another local business. Owner Dan Peters recognizes that their success is dependent on the success of other small businesses, and that relationship works both ways. You’ll often see he and partner Butch Calcote patronizing local restaurants with clients.
This month they picked Alexx Quattrone and presented him with not just a gift certificate, but with a date night with his wife at local hotspot L’Italia. Alexx used the good luck to treat his wife to dinner and the food was amazing!! “Dinner was awesome!! I got the steak and she got the pasta!!”

Besides being very happy about the great dinner, Alexx explains that he is always happy to shop at Fassett Lane because, “the people who work there are great, helpful, and the prices are hard to beat!”
