The Free and Accepted Masons are the oldest fraternal organization in the world dating back some 3,000 years.  The Cuba-Friendship Lodge has continuously been a great influence in the community by providing leadership, a principled way of life deeply rooted in a system of values, social benevolence, emphasis on individual excellence and serving as a stabilizing force in the community.

The history of Masonry in the Village of Cuba has prevailed unbroken for 199 years, the Lodge was chartered June 8, 1825, and is deeply rooted in the American Revolutionary era.  From its introduction to the present day, Freemasonry has been an important influence at work in the development of the Cuba community.

The members of the Cuba-Friendship Lodge No. 306 are dedicated to supporting the community and the people in it.  Each year they donate to support local charities, churches, scout troops and scholarships for the local high school. In addition, the Lodge is available for hosting events and donates time and manpower to events such as the Boy Scout Birthday breakfast the first weekend of February every year and volunteering at the VA Hospital in Bath.

The Cuba-Friendship Lodge, #306, will hold a public installation of its officers that is open to anyone in the public that wishes to observe and be part of the ceremony on Thursday, May 16th at 7:30 PM. If you are going to attend, we ask that you arrive no later than 7:15 PM so that we may start promptly at 7:30 PM. Feel free to bring any questions you may have and we will be happy to answer them.
