MEET A MASON, SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 24th, 2-4 PM

From Cuba-Friendship Masons,

Cuba-Friendship Lodge No. 306, located at 3 East Main St in the Village of Cuba, NY is hosting its first ever “Meet a Mason” day on Saturday, February 24th between 2 – 4 PM. Come on out and visit the Lodge and meet local Brothers who will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the organization and what we do. If you’ve ever been curious or interested in learning more about it, this is the time.

The Free and Accepted Masons are the oldest fraternal organization in the world dating back some 3,000 years. The Cuba-Friendship Lodge has continuously been a great influence in the community by providing leadership, a principled way of life deeply rooted in a system of values, social benevolence, emphasis on individual excellence and serving as a stabilizing force in the community.

The history of Masonry in the Village of Cuba has prevailed unbroken for 198 years, the Lodge was chartered June 8, 1825, and is deeply rooted in the American Revolutionary era. From its introduction to the present day, Freemasonry has been an important influence at work in the development of the Cuba community.

The members of the Cuba-Friendship Lodge No. 306 are dedicated to supporting the community and the people in it. Each year they donate to support local charities, churches, scout troops and scholarships for the local high school. In addition, the Lodge is available for hosting events and donates time and manpower to events such as the Boy Scout Birthday breakfast the first weekend of February every year and volunteering at the VA Hospital in Bath.
